Digital & creative: Training at Systec GmbH awarded TOP TRAINING by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

In July 2022, Systec GmbH received the IHK's top training seal for the second time since 2017. According to Juliane Hünefeld-Linkermann, Head of Training and Further Education, the IHK audit team was "particularly impressed" by "how many channels the company uses to appeal to young people in order to recruit them as trainees". Jörg Winkelmann (Managing Director), Andreas Ihme (Site Manager), Andre Unland, Alexander Lux (trainers) and Carina Vinke (from "arbeitslotse", external personnel service manager) accepted the award for outstanding training quality.

Jörg Winkelmann said of the digital strategy: "A special new project is the Instagram account on which our trainees report on their training. They are authentic and demonstrate their creativity". Offline, Systec GmbH addresses young people at training fairs such as "Ausbildung 49". An insight is also made possible directly in local schools or with internships. Andre Unland and Andreas Lux are responsible for getting the new trainees off to a good start at Systec. According to the two trainers, they should get to know the company and the training right from the start. To this end, they have the opportunity to get to know trainers and training officers as well as team leaders from other departments in a "speed dating" session.

Good preparation of the trainees - as well as the employees - is another cornerstone of successful training. To support the learning process, trainees are allowed to follow up on vocational school lessons during working hours, for example, or take part in internal or external courses to prepare for exams. Appropriate qualifications are also important for the trainers themselves. Many would complete preparatory courses for the trainer aptitude test and other special training courses. All employees involved in training are also in regular contact with each other.

#TRAINING AMBASSADORS

Our trainees have recently become training ambassadors! "Training ambassadors" are trainees who present their training occupation and company to school classes and promote dual training. The trainees take part in a one-day training course beforehand in order to be optimally prepared for their school assignments.

As a cooperation project of the Osnabrück - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the initiative stands for the support of companies in training marketing. The main aims are to make dual training more attractive to more young people and to create enthusiasm. Furthermore, schools are offered an innovative additional service in the area of school careers guidance.

The "Training Ambassadors" project is aimed at providing careers guidance at eye level. After all, there is no one better suited to talk about training than trainees themselves. Not only are they on an equal footing with pupils, they also speak the same language. They are also familiar with the situation that school leavers face: choosing a career.
