Systec presents the new generation of autoclaves: The Systec DX and Systec VX series
With the new Systec DX and Systec VX series, Systec GmbH & Co. KG presents the next generation of compact and medium-sized laboratory autoclaves . Building on the technological basis of the latest Systec HX series, both lines have been completely revised - with a new design, optimized process architecture and a touchscreen control system developed from scratch. The result: faster, more precise and more resource-efficient sterilization processes with maximum user-friendliness.
In addition, all models have modern interfaces for digital connection as standard, including Ethernet, USB and optional WLAN. The documentation-relevant process data can be automatically exported in PDF or CSV format, while the extended internal memory enables archiving for at least ten years. Thanks to tamper-proof signatures, audit trail functions and full traceability of all interventions, the new series meets the key requirements of FDA Directive 21 CFR Part 11.
The robust design of all autoclaves in the Systec DX and Systec VX series is based on corrosion-resistant stainless steel (AISI 304 / 1.4301) for the frame and cladding and pharmaceutical stainless steel (AISI 316L / 1.4404) for the pressure vessel. The standard operating range covers temperatures up to 140 °C at 4 bar; 150 °C at 5 bar is available as an option. Up to five flexible PT-100 temperature sensors can be configured individually - for pure documentation or for direct process control. In addition, up to 100 users and groups can be set up, each with their own or shared program lists.
Like all Systec autoclaves , the new series are also designed for the most demanding laboratory applications. This means that liquids, porous solids, large-volume media bottles or waste materials can be sterilized reliably and validated.
Systec DX series - horizontal benchtop autoclaves for maximum space utilization
The Systec DX series comprises seven models with chamber volumes from 25 to 200 liters. The horizontal design enables particularly efficient use of the interior space and facilitates integration into laboratory workstations with limited space. High loading capacities - ideal for standard laboratory bottles, Erlenmeyer flasks and bulk containers - combined with reduced cycle times enable a significant increase in sample throughput.
The new control architecture significantly shortens heating and cooling times. Innovative insulation materials in accordance with cleanroom standards (without particle emission) also reduce energy consumption.
Systec VX series - vertical floor-standing autoclaves for maximum loading height
The Systec VX series comprises eight models with chamber volumes of 40 to 150 liters and is particularly optimized for applications that require maximum loading height. Vertical loading enables ergonomic handling, even with heavy or large-volume samples. A lifting device can also be used for this purpose.
Thanks to the generous usable height, Erlenmeyer flasks, media bottles and bulk containers can be processed in larger quantities per cycle. The newly developed process architecture also ensures particularly fast and energy-efficient cycles.
Numerous options are available for the Systec VX series and the Systec DX series to optimize specific applications, including
-
Vacuum system for removing remaining air from solids and waste
-
Radial fan for homogeneous temperature distribution during the cooling phase and significantly reduced recooling times
-
Ultracooler to reduce the recooling time by up to 90
-
Steam-air mixing process for pressure-sensitive materials
-
Exhaust air filtration
-
Superdry drying and many other options.
Digitally networked and centrally monitored: Systec Connect DS for Systec DX and VX series
With the Systec Connect Documentation System ( DS), all autoclaving processes of the Systec DX and Systec VX series can be monitored in real time - intuitively, centrally and without additional hardware or software installations. There is no need to go to the device to check anything: All running and completed processes are clearly merged and displayed in the browser. This facilitates integration into existing IT environments and significantly increases the time efficiency of all sterilization processes.
Especially in laboratories with several table-top or floor-standing autoclaves working in parallel, continuous monitoring is crucial in order to detect error messages immediately and to reload the devices after the end of the cycle without delay. Systec Connect DS for the new generation of the Systec DX and Systec VX series eliminates the need to regularly check each autoclave on site.
All relevant information is brought together centrally and can be read out in a clearly structured manner - from program type and remaining time to current temperature and pressure values. Color-coded status displays make the system status visible at a glance. Irregularities can be detected and rectified immediately, which significantly reduces downtime between sterilization processes. In addition, data from completed processes can also be viewed - including statistics on minimum and maximum measured values, F₀ values and other parameters. This allows ongoing processes to be compared with historical data and long-term process optimizations to be derived.
Systec Connect DS is completely web-based and can be used on all common systems - regardless of operating system or browser. Integration into existing IT structures is possible without additional software or costly upgrades.
Only an Ethernet or WLAN connection within the internal laboratory network is required to operate Systec Connect DS. All data remains in the local network; external servers or cloud connections are not required. In addition, Connect DS is used exclusively for monitoring - no control commands are sent to the autoclaves and no data is changed. Manipulation or unintentional process modifications are ruled out. Access is exclusively via the user accounts stored in the autoclave, so that only authorized persons have access to process data and histories.
Systec Connect DS enables complete transparency of all current and past sterilization processes and ensures more efficient workflows - especially in laboratories with several autoclaves from the Systec DX, Systec VX and Systec HX series.
The Systec Connect app is available free of charge.
