Supplied, installed and supported in Australia by our distribution partner Bioline Global Pty Ltd.

Systec GmbH & Co KG is pleased to highlight a significant healthcare installation in Australia, carried out in close collaboration with our exclusive national distributor Bioline Global Pty Ltd.

Thanks to its specialized expertise in clinical environments, Bioline Global Pty Ltd. has successfully sold , installed, qualified and commissioned a Systec HX-150 2D pass-through autoclave at the Pathology Department of Nepean Hospital in Penrith, NSW.

This project demonstrates how German high-security sterilization technology combined with a competent, locally based partner can solve critical challenges in advanced clinical laboratories.

The challenge: BSL-3 standards in a high-throughput clinical laboratory

Nepean Hospital needed a modern sterilization solution to meet the requirements of a BSL-3 laboratory handling high-risk, potentially infectious materials. To meet these requirements, the hospital needed a system that:

- Support BSL-3 contamination control through a double-leaf pass-through design
- Enable validated sterilization of complex and porous materials
- Provide fast cycle times for urgent pathology samples
- Integrates with existing hospital infrastructure and workflows
- Meets Australian documentation and compliance requirements

The need for a high-performance solution combined with installation-critical healthcare protocols led to the search for a competent supplier with proven experience in the Australian hospital sector.

Our solution: Systec HX-150 2D autoclave, supplied locally by Bioline Global Pty Ltd.

Bioline undertook the entire project on behalf of Systec and provided an end-to-end solution tailored to the hospital's requirements.

Bioline's scope of work:

- Sale of the Systec HX-150 2D autoclave to Nepean Hospital
- Project management and coordination with the hospital
- Delivery and installation on site
- Commissioning and validation
- Proof of documentation and compliance for BSL-3
- Staff training and certification
- Ongoing service, maintenance and local spare parts supply

System functions provided by Systec:

- 150-liter chamber for high-throughput processing
- Vacuum technology for reliable sterilization of complex batches
- Rapid cooling system to reduce cycle time and optimize workflow
- Pass-through double door design to control BSL-3 contamination
- Compatibility with safety-critical hospital protocols

The result is a high-security sterilization system that combines German engineering precision with Australian technical implementation and service continuity.
