Systec Connect DS

Systec presents new autoclaves and Systec Connect at Analytica 2022

Reading time about 4 minutes

Advantages and special features of Systec autoclaves

The autoclaves from Systec GmbH can be used for all laboratory applications: sterilization of solids, liquids, waste and hazardous biological substances. All autoclaves can be equipped with options to optimize the sterilization processes. The required options can therefore be added to optimize the respective sterilization processes. For the sterilization of solids and waste in pouches, for example, Systec autoclaves can be equipped with a vacuum system that completely removes the air from the product. This allows steam to penetrate the product and sterilize it in a validatable manner. The integrated Superdry drying system ensures complete drying of solids after sterilization. For the sterilization of liquids in bottles, Systec has developed a cooling system with its Ultracooler, which reduces the re-cooling time by up to 90 % compared to self-cooling.

New generation: Systec H series - large horizontal autoclaves

The new Systec H-series laboratory autoclaves are attracting particular interest. This is the latest generation of the proven Systec HX series with numerous new features. The large horizontal autoclaves are designed as floor-standing autoclaves that can be loaded from the front. Available in 16 sizes with a chamber volume of 65 - 1580 liters, the floor-standing autoclaves are compact and lightweight despite their high loading capacities. The Systec HX series has numerous new functions to increase efficiency - for example, you can use the new Systec Connect ICS software or the Systec Connect app for remote monitoring of all sterilization processes.

New generation: Systec H series 2D - pass-through/lock autoclaves

The same applies to the pass-through autoclaves of the Systec H-Series 2D, which consists of 13 models with chamber volumes of 90 - 1580 liters. These autoclaves are specially designed for gas-tight installation in partition walls and are therefore equipped with two doors. Their design has the same functional, modern design language as all Systec autoclaves.

New generation: Systec V-Series vertical autoclaves / Systec D-Series table-top autoclaves

Systec will also be exhibiting models from the new generation of compact Systec V-series for the first time. The new generation Systec D-Series will also be presented as a world first at ANALYTICA 2022. Both series impress with a completely new design and use most of the features of the new Systec HX series to make work processes even more efficient. The Systec V-series models are top-loading vertical autoclaves (40 - 150 liter floor-standing autoclaves), which are characterized by their small footprint and large usable chamber height, while the Systec D-series models are front-loading horizontal autoclaves (25 to 200 liter benchtop autoclaves), which offer optimal loading capacity for most standard medium bottles and Erlenmeyer flasks. The latest generation of models in the Systec V and Systec D series will be available to end customers in 2023 - and can already be seen at ANALYTICA in 2022.

Innovation: Systec Connect DS for monitoring all autoclaving processes

Systec will also be presenting the new Systec Connect DS (Documentation System) at ANALYTICA 2022 on the basis of the Systec HX, V and D series models. This is a monitoring interface that can be used to monitor all new-generation Systec autoclaves in laboratories and plants. The interface is intuitive to use, reads out process data in real time, passes on warning messages and notifies about completed autoclaving processes. At the trade fair, Systec will be demonstrating how this system saves time in large laboratories with multiple autoclaves by eliminating the need to visit individual devices. Systec Connect will be available in 2022 and can be used both on fixed computers in the laboratory and as an app (Systec Connect App) on cell phones.

Systec Mediaprep - production/sterilization of microbiological media

Visitors can also find out about the Systec Mediaprep media preparators (7 sizes, 10 to 120 liters) for the quick and easy preparation and sterilization of microbiological media.

Systec Mediafill - automatic filling and stacking of culture media in Petri dishes and filling of test tubes

Another focus of the ANALYTICA trade fair presentation is the Systec Mediafill system for the automatic filling of culture media in Petri dishes and test tubes. The device, which is available with 3 stacking carousel heights for up to 600 Petri dishes, is easy and intuitive to operate via the 5.7" touch display. Thanks to the integrated database for pre-programmed Petri dish dimensions, Petri dishes can be selected at the touch of a button. Filling and stacking is also fully automatic and requires no operator intervention. Integrated peristaltic pumps ensure precise filling of media and addition of additives. With a range of options, the Systec Mediafill system can be optimally configured for a wide variety of applications.

Analytica will take place from June 21 to 24, 2022 in Munich. We look forward to presenting the autoclaves and media preparators as well as the new Systec Connect system at our stand in Hall B1, Stand 502!
