The Systec Mediaprep series automates the complete preparation of liquid media - from preparation to sterilization and sterile filling.
Available in seven sizes from 10 to 120 liters, it offers an efficient solution for research laboratories, clinics and the pharmaceutical industry.

An integrated magnetic agitator ensures homogeneous mixing throughout the entire process. Up to 100 programs can be created and saved using the intuitive touch display control . Thanks to rapid re-cooling and the addition of additives, reproducible media of high quality are produced.

Sterile addition of additives

Additives can be added in doses via the filler neck. The filler neck for adding additives after sterilization is generously dimensioned and has a safety cap.

The additives are either filled sterilely into the open nozzle using a bottle or injected with a syringe through a silicone membrane inserted in the sealing flap.

Sterile removal of the medium

To remove the medium from the media preparator under sterile conditions, the filling nozzle is opened.

A silicone tube is connected to the filling nozzle using a filling lance. To ensure sterile removal, the filling lance and silicone tube must be pre-sterilized in an autoclave.

Filling is carried out either via a sterile filtered air pressure, which is built up with the integrated compressor, with the Systec Mediapump or by connecting any peristaltic pump or a device with an integrated pump.

Dosing in alternatives

The processed, sterile medium is filled via a flexible tube.

The internal suction tube and the filling nozzle are automatically sterilized during each sterilization cycle. External hoses and adapters must be steam-sterilized in advance and connected under sterile conditions.
