Since October 2018, the Frastanz cooperative brewery has been using a Systec V-75 autoclave to sterilize sampling containers and liquids in its in-house quality laboratory. This means that nothing stands in the way of optimized quality control. The device was provided by the complete laboratory outfitter Bartelt, which has been selling high-quality Systec autoclaves in Austria for many years.
"Personal and genuine" - the Frastanzer brewery , founded in 1902, has been following this guiding principle for many years. And in the near future it is set to prove itself once again: The cooperative has decided to transform itself into an organic brewery with generous modernization investments.
Original gravity, yeast cultures, water purity, hop and malt content - all the variables have to be right for a real quality beer. In Frastanzer's in-house laboratory, the Systec V-75 autoclave ensures that no measured values are falsified by foreign bodies or unwanted bacteria in sample containers when testing these ingredients. The floor-standing autoclave with a nominal usable volume of 75 liters covers a temperature and pressure range of up to 140 °C and 4 bar - ideal for preventing bacterial or germ contamination on glassware or in liquids.
Thanks to the flexible PT-100 temperature sensor and the practical integrated LCD display, the autoclaving process can be programmed quickly and easily. In this way, the brewing experts at Frastanzer can carry out their quality checks, which take place several times a week, promptly and be sure of optimum sterilization results.
The new autoclave was supplied and installed by our Austrian dealer Bartelt GmbH. Since its foundation in 1936, the company has built up a reputation as one of the market leaders for laboratory equipment, facilities and consumables in Austria and distributes Systec's professional autoclaves throughout the country.
The Frastanz cooperative brewery can rely on the rapid service provided by both companies for all inquiries - from problem solutions to detailed assistance in programming its own sterilization programs.
